Camden County Courthouse Goes Virtual Due To COVID Case

Court hearings are going online in Camden county, that after an employee at the justice center tests positive for COVID 19.

According to Circuit Clerk Jo McElwee, the court currently runs on a phased reopening schedule set by the supreme court.

It indicates a zero to three reopening plan and currently due to the COVID case, they remain at phase zero.

Officials say the court will now resume doing cases via Zoom and there will be next to no interactions in person until further notice.
