It’s not something you see everyday but early Saturday morning two local Camden County Sheriff’s deputies helped deliver a baby girl in a car. Officer Trenton Teubner and his partner Deputy Yeager where traveling down highway 54 near Camdenton when they came across a black SUV traveling with their flashers on at a high rate of speed. Upon pulling the vehicle over, the officers discovered that the man’s daughter was having a child right then. Officers called in an EMS but before the ambulance could arrive, the baby was born. Officer Teubner helped deliver the little girl
Once the EMS arrived, the baby and her mother were taken to the hospital and last checked they were doing fine. Officer Teubner recommends that if anyone is going into labor, it’s much safer to contact an ambulance, rather than race to a hospital.
