The Camden County Emergency Management Agency is having a difficult time reaching out to local warming centers during the ongoing winter storm.
Officials are reporting that the majority of churches and community centers have yet to return their calls on if they’ll be opening up any shelters at this time.
The EMA office says they are aware of the Osage Beach First Assembly of God being a location that often opens for large-scale assistance, but will unlikely be able to handle overnight or short term stays at this time.
If you are opening a shelter, please contact the EMA office immediately.
