The cause of a residential structure fire in Linn Creek is under investigation. The Camden County Sheriff’s Department says fire and rescue were dispatched to the location on Dry Gulch Lane shortly after 12:15 this (02/25/2017) morning. Initial reports indicate there was a loud explosion with the trailer and nearby woods on fire. Upon arrival, the home was fully involved and it took firefighters from the Mid County District around thirty minutes to bring the blaze under control. Further investigation determined that the occupants, two adults and one toddler, were not home at the time. No injuries were reported. Also responding to the scene were law enforcement from Camden County and Linn Creek along with Mercy Ambulance, Laclede Electric and the Fire Marshall from the Sunrise Beach Fire District.
