Camden County is maintaining its budget level as it increases its reserves.
The commission passed the $45 million dollar budget this week, with county operations taking about $24 million of that total. Presiding Commissioner Kris Franken says overall the budget is only up a little less than $100,000, something made possible by the elected officials.
The county will add money to its reserves this year.
Franken says the agencies determine the AAA bond rating.
One elected office that saw an increase this year was the clerk who had $134,000 added for the 2012 election.
