With a chance of rain in the forecast over the next several days, the Camden County Museum, in Linn Creek, is likely to be a busy place. Unfortunately, the majority of that activity will be trying to keep the museum dry. They have ongoing issues and some much-needed repairs still to be done to the roof.
Daphne Jeffries, President of the Camden County Historical Society, goes on to say finances are limiting progress that can be made toward getting the roof replaced or repaired. The $20,000 effort is dependent largely on materials being donated. The current roof is some 20 years old.
