Many people rely heavily on Social Security as a main source of income in retirement. If that’s the case, and those funds make up a big part of your housing payments, a new study shows that this part of the state may not be a bad place to live. According to www.smartasset.com, Camden County residents can get more mileage out of their Social Security money than anywhere else in the state. Their fifth annual study uses Social Security income, cost of living data, and taxes across all counties to compile their list. Benton County was second on the list, followed by Stone, Moniteau, and Dallas counties. You can see the full study here.
