The Camden County Commission sending off a letter to Governor Mike Parson, asking him to “reconsider” the current stay-at-home order…

The letter reads in part “Camden County is a tourist driven economy” and that area businesses often only have “five decent months” to make an entire year’s revenue.

It also indicates that a number of businesses have already reported “greater losses” than they can absorb, causing extended or permanent closures.

The commission asks the Governor to re-evaluate the order’s effect on the County and for a decision to be made on an “official opening date” for the state.
