The Camden County Sheriff’s Department is hoping to make its presence felt more by increasing visibility in some of the outlying areas. Sheriff Tony Helms says community resource officers are being assigned to spearhead the patrolling in Climax Springs, Macks Creek, and Stoutland.
Helms says that he thinks the new community resource officers will prove to be a valuable tool in those areas starting with that increase in visibility.
