The Camden County Sheriff’s Office continues to look for ways to improve their relationship with the community. Later this month, they’ll be doing that by hosting a shooting competition at the county range. Sheriff Tony Helms says it will be set up so any shooter can win, eliminating some of the advantage that the officers would normally have.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 21st, at the range on State Road A for $35 a person. Participants are required to bring their own gun, ammunition, and ear and eye protection. All proceeds will benefit the CCSO Scholarship and Relief Fund.
