A Camden County Sheriff’s deputy has been injured following a late-night pursuit into Benton County.
According to the Highway Patrol, 27-year-old Deputy Nevin Seaton was pursing a vehicle in a field near Horse Trail Road in Edwards around 1:30 Saturday morning.
Investigators say when the Deputy attempted to return to the roadway, he hit a ditch, crossed the road and hit another ditch.
He was taken to Lake Regional for treatment.
There’s no word on if the person the deputy was pursing was captured or not.
