It was a busy Labor Day weekend for the Camden County Sheriff’s office. From Friday evening until late Monday night, they responded to 744 incidents including 237 9-1-1 calls. Eight incidents involved possession of a controlled substance. There were four assaults reported, four burglaries, four cases of property damage, six DWI’s, and eight domestic assaults. During the three day period, seven people were placed on a 12-hour hold for intoxication.
