Camden County Sheriff’s Office Staffs Up For Holiday Weekend

Thousands of people are flocking to the Lake Area for the 4^th of July weekend, and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office is pulling in extra help.

Captain Chris Twitchel also tells KRMS News they’ll be watching for people who are drinking and driving.

He also has some advice for vacationers in town.

Captain Twitchel is also reminding visitors to be patient with others during this busy time and to drink plenty of water in the hot temperatures expected through the holiday weekend.
