Camden County deputies conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle swerving on Bittersweet Road near Horseshoe Bend Parkway in the Village of Four Seasons. The driver was identified as seventeen year old Tyler Leek of Camdenton. Leek was visibly intoxicated and taken into custody at the scene for Driving While Intoxicated. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed several items of drug paraphernalia, prescription narcotics not belonging to either of the men, and a half-emptied bottle of vodka. The vehicle’s passenger, seventeen year old Alex Porschen or Linn Creek, was also taken into custody at the scene. Leek was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia, DWI, Failure to Drive on the Right Half of Roadway and Minor Visibly Intoxicated. He was released after posting a $1000.00 cash bond. Both men were transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility where Porschen was issued two summonses for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Possession of Marijuana. He posted a total cash bond of $550.00 on both charges.
