Camden County’s Emergency Management Agency has received a grant that will make the area a whole lot safer during emergency situations. The $5,100 grant is for a mass notification system, which Director Ron Gentry says will be huge for the area.
Gentry says they could also open up the notification system to other entities, such as the water districts for a boil order. As of right now, he says the system should be up and running in a couple of months.
