The Camden County Planning and Zoning Commission has turned down a request from the owners of the Paradise Restaurant & Bar, off Route TT in Sunrise Beach for a conditional use permit for the operation of an outdoor music venue with an acoustic privacy wall for noise abatement. The Lakefront establishment has been cited for code violations, and neighboring residents have filed suit in Circuit Court, seeking an injunction to stop the outdoor music. The conditional use permit request could be reconsidered if additional information is presented, or a new application is made for some other option.
