The Camdenton Board of Alderman met Tuesday night and took action on several items. It was decided not to terminate the Hanger Lease agreement at the airport. The decision was due to the fact there is an airplane in the hanger that still has not been sold. In other business, appointments to the Veteran’s memorial Committee were approved and the Board approved a motion to allow a “minor subdivision” in the Block 51 Original Township subdivision. The motion will result in two larger lots on the property instead of the original 9. It was also announced the city will be soliciting bids for Water Tower Inspections. The first reading of a bill was approved that allows the Mayor to enter into a contract for design and inspection services for the sidewalk project. The first reading of two other bills also received approval. One authorizes the mayor to enter into a contract for the annual street overlay project and the paving of the old city hall parking lot. The other amends an original agreement regarding the Land Acquisition Services project.
