It’s going to be a busy night for the Camdenton board of alderman. Two public hearings are being held regarding a special use permits submitted by U.S. Cellular. During tonight’s board meeting, several items are slated to be discussed including a bill pertaining to the animal control ordinance that limits the total number of dogs at a residence to three and no more than one pitbull or potentially dangerous dog per household. In other business the board will consider authorizing the mayor to enter into an agreement for ball fields and tennis courts at the city park. The board will also discuss approving an application for the MODOT enforcement grant, consider rehiring the aquatic facility manager and will hear reports from several department heads. The board may also go into closed session for the purpose of discussing leasing, purchase or sale of real estate. Tonight’s meeting begins at 7 o’clock at city hall.
