The Camdenton board of alderman will meet tonight (Tuesday) and will once again vote on the proposed name change for the airport. An ordinance has been drafted and will now be officially voted on. The new name the city, veteran’s groups and the airport advisory board have come up with is “Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport.” In other business, the board will continue to discuss the city’s animal control ordinance and the mayor is expected to make appointments to the comprehensive plan steering committee. The board will also review the city’s financial report and will consider a request to fill a vacant firefighter position. Tonight’s meeting begins at 7 o’clock in city hall.
