Two major projects in the Camdenton area are a step closer to completion, but both still have a long way to go. A study on the feasibility of a proposed tournament soccer complex currently underway is expected to take about 90 days to complete. The first phase of that study, however, should be complete and ready for review in a couple weeks, according to City Administrator Jeff Hancock. The study will determine, in part, what types of amenities would need to be to make the complex economically viable. The city is also making progress on their new community center. The advisory board for the center has narrowed down a list of architect submittals from eight to three. All three finalists are from the Kansas City area and will be interviewed October 23rd.
