Camdenton voters could be asked to vote on a property tax to fund a new community college campus within the Camdenton school district. The Board of Aldermen will vote Tuesday on a resolution of support for Ozarks Technical College. OTC had been approached by the city to explore possible construction of a complete campus. That would require voter approval. The estimated cost of the campus is $15-$20 million. The proposed levy is for 20-cents per $100 in assessed valuation. If constructed, students within the district would receive discounted tuition. The board will consider that resolution along with zoning rules on medical marijuana facilities when they meet Tuesday at 6pm.
