The City of Camdenton has joined the ranks of municipalities and other jurisdictions instituting “social distancing” measures in light of the COVID-19 issue. Mayor John McNabb says the board of aldermen convened in emergency session, on Thursday, and adopted provisions to limit locations to 10-or-less people, to close city parks and to limit in-person traffic inside city hall. McNabb also says, for those who need it, residents can use a drop box in front of city hall to pay water and sewer bills. The city also encourages patronizing local businesses that remain open with, either, limited inside traffic, carryout or delivery service. The changes in Camdenton are in effect until further notice.
