After the passing of Camdenton Alderman Gerry Rector late last year, the board has had an open seat. Bonnie Black is currently running to take that spot over following the upcoming election but, until then, Administrator Jeff Hancock says they needed to fill it temporarily.

Rector passed away unexpectedly on November 27th of last year. Currently Black is running unopposed to take over the Ward 1 seat permanently.
