Camdenton will soon have a new city administrator. During an executive session this week, the city’s board of alderman voted to hire J. Jeff Hancock who currently lives in Nebraska. He is originally from this area and was hired as Camdenton’s first city administrator in 1976. Camdenton Mayor John McNabb says he is excited to have Hancock on board.
McNabb says she will be missed.
Hancock who has over 36 years of municipal government experience will also be in charge of the city’s economic development. He will be moving back home from the state of Nebraska and will officially begin his duties as the Camdenton city administrator on February 10th.
