Camdenton High Student Organizing Program for Rides for Cancer Patients

A local high school student is trying to start a “Road to Recovery” program to help cancer patients in the lake area.

Camdenton High Senior Sophia Baudo is a student in the medical & healthcare field of the GoCaps program. She says patients every day have to cancel appointments because of a lack of transportation. Volunteer drivers do have to undergo a background check and complete a short online training course. To sign up, go to www.cancer.org/drive.
