Camdenton’s Board of Aldermen has recognized two long-serving employees for their dedication to the city. At last night’s meeting, certificates of appreciation were presented to police officer Chris Williams and to Deputy City Clerk Tish Sims.
Williams has served for 20 years. Sims was recognized for 10 years of service.
In other action, the board approved the operating budget for the new fiscal year beginning next month. They also announced plans to hire a new code & fire officer, with an official announcement expected later this week.
