After more than a decade, a new program designed to teach leadership skills and more is launching at Camdenton High School. The school has been approved for a U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, or JROTC. It’s considered to be the premier citizenship and leadership development program in the country. Retired veterans Brendan McKiernan and David Dowell will be leading the program. They want to hit the ground running and are looking for ways to get their kids involved in the community. If you have community service projects that they can help with, or if you’d like to help with a donation, call 573-346-3320.
