Several items were discussed during Tuesday night’s Camdenton Board of Alderman meeting. Elected officials from the recent election were sworn in and Dan Hagedorn was elected Board President. In other business, it was reported that sales tax is up from this time last year however fuel sales are down at the airport. The Airport Veteran’s memorial Monument Committee is also scheduled to meet May 4th to discuss the proposed monument which is estimated cost between $5,000 and $7,000. The Public Works Department also announced the asphalt/paving project is on hold due to damage caused by drainage issues.
