We have more details on felony charges filed against a Camdenton man. Cory Blume is charged with resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer following an incident that took place Wednesday night. The Camden County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near South Highway 5 and Spencer Creek Road. Blume, who was the passenger in the vehicle involved, allegedly became combative during questioning by a state trooper. When deputies attempted to intervene and calm him down, it’s alleged that Blume punched one of them in the mouth. That set off a scuffle involving the deputies and state trooper attempting to get Blume into custody. Once he was detained, he allegedly kicked the interior of the patrol vehicle and hit his head against the window. He was treated at Lake Regional and transported to the county jail.
