A Camdenton man faces a felony charge for, allegedly, tampering with a court-ordered GPS device. 40-year-old Brian Colyer had been ordered to wear GPS in connection to a misdemeanor case charging him with harassment and violating an order of protection for an adult. The charge dates back to July, 2017, when the pre-trial probation company supervising Colyer reported that Colyer had violated an order to stay away the victim’s residence and that he had tampered with the GPS unit he was wearing. The charge is a class-D felony and a special prosecutor will be appointed. The two associate circuit judges have also recused themselves meaning a judge will now have to be assigned to preside over the case.
