A Camdenton man is dead after a single-vehicle accident in Maries County. The highway patrol says it happened around 9:45 Monday night when 44-year-old Daryl Burke was westbound on Highway-42 four miles west of Belle. The car driven by Burke traveled off the roadway along a curve and overturned. Burke was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead a short while after the accident at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. A passenger in the car, 19-year-old Kory Burke of St. Clair, was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. He was treated for his injuries at Phelps County Regional in Rolla.
