Two people from Camdenton escaped serious injury after trying to avoid wildlife on Route D. The Highway Patrol says 24-year old Robert Eaton was traveling south of Eagles Landing Lane around noon on Tuesday when he swerved to avoid a deer. The car went off the roadway and overturned. Both Robert and 22-year old Allison Eaton were wearing their seatbelts at the time and escaped the crash with only minor injuries. They were both transported to Lake Regional Hospital.
