Camdenton is moving forward with a proposed annexation that could bring the city thousands in sales tax. The Board of Aldermen has given City Administrator Jeff Hancock the green light to draft an agreement with the developer to construct a 15,000 square foot showroom and warehouse. It will be at the southwest corner of North Business 5 and new Highway 5.
The developer estimates that the project could produce as much as $62,000 a year for the city after the reimbursement costs. If approved, the goal is to have it completed by June 1st of 2018.
