The City of Camdenton is budgeting for growth. The proposed operating budget for 2017-2018 passed first reading Tuesday night. The spending plan calls for $6.96 million in expenditures for the coming fiscal year. The city will begin the year with a balance of over $8.5 million (an increase of more than $325,000 from a year ago.) Estimated revenues sit at just under $7 million, meaning the city will have over $15 million available. Year-end projections show overall growth of over $4,000.
