A push to make access easier for a disabled Camdenton sixth grader led to a lengthy debate at last night’s Camdenton city board meeting.
The little girl lives on Leonard North Street, a current dead end. The bus that picks her up has to back in and pull out to get access to her home. Both sides argued for and against the city’s plans to pave the dead end, which the city was deeded, and connect Hollyhock to Leonard North with a two lane road.
First Ward Alderman Steve Eden suggested a compromise.
Eventually the issue was tabled. The city will take up the matter at their November 15th meeting.
