It seems it was a fairly routine week for the Camdenton Police Department. They responded to three domestic violence calls, one burglary and six motor vehicle crashes. They also conducted 10 arrests. One of the ten arrested was 34 year old Leigha Bellamy of Eldon, who was arrested on August 4th for a Miller County warrant for arson. Bellamy, along with 34 year old Robert Cody Jr. of Tuscumbia, allegedly set an unoccupied home on fire just off of Highway W in Eldon. The incident occurred on April 17th. To go with the arson charge, Bellamy has also been charged with first degree tampering with a motor vehicle after she allegedly stole a pickup truck the same day as the arson. Bellamy’s original bond was set at $25,000 but has since been reduced to to $5,000 with an agreement that she not contact Cody. Cody’s bond was set at $50,0000.
