Camdenton Pushes Back At Door To Door Salespeople Amid COVID 19

The City of Camdenton is putting the brakes on unlicensed solicitors who’ve been knocking on area doors, asking if they can enter your home.

City leaders say it doesn’t matter if they go door to door to sell a product or offer a service, they still have to register with the city as either a peddler, solicitor or canvasser before they can legally approach your home, per an already existing ordinance.

Residents are encouraged to not to open your home to anyone you don’t know right now, especially with the battle over COVID 19 still at full force in the Ozarks.

However, if you do speak to someone, and they are not licensed with the city…you’re encouraged to contact city hall immediately.
