The Camdenton R-3 School District is partnering with a program out of Springfield to help their students explore different career paths. Superintendent Dr. Tim Hadfield says the School Board approved a memorandum of understanding to enter an affiliate membership with the Greater Ozarks Centers for Advanced Professional Study, or GO CAPS.
Dr. Hadfield says those two programs are a Medical and Health Care and Engineering and Manufacturing. By joining GO CAPS, they have 44 seats for students to take part in one of those two programs. Students would use the first quarter going to those job sites to explore what jobs are available in those fields.
