The district attorney and the Camdenton R-3 school board will talk about parental consent at a special board meeting today. The group will meet with the public at 4 o’clock to talk about revisions to the school internet access policy and the procedure for getting access to unapproved websites. At the last special meeting taxpayers asked for more parental oversight of the access procedure. The school is currently being sued by the ACLU, who says the school’s internet filter is discriminatory and operating in violation of federal law. District attorney Tom Mickes will be on hand for today’s discussion.
