The Camdenton R-III School Board is looking into the district’s different options regarding how to save money on employee’s insurance. One option the district has is to start a health risk management program. This program would cost the district $5 per employee each month but the goal is to reduce the risk of paying higher claims in the future. The management program is just one option the district has. They could also raise each employee’s deductibles, raise the limit of the district’s stop-loss deductible or make changes to their plan. As of now the school board is planning on continuing looking into their options and deciding what to do sometime in the spring.
