The Camdenton School District continues to rank among the best in the State showing continued improvement in the district’s Annual Performance Report. The report is issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and takes into account five areas as the basis for a district’s accreditation. The areas include academic achievement, subgroup achievement such as special ed and minority students, college and career readiness, attendance rates and graduation rates. Superintendent Doctor Tim Hadfield says one of the biggest improvements over the past year came in the area of attendance.
Overall, the district scored 97.1 percent on the annual review, up from 95 percent a year ago. That puts the district in the top 22 percent across the state.
