The Camdenton school district sees good numbers continue as they approach the 12th year of the current tax rate. As required by State Statue, each year the school must re-evaluate their tax position with the community and yet again the school board officials decided to keep the rate they’ve had now for the past 11 years. Hadfield says even with the current tax rate they were able to construct a new elementary school and that says a lot about the way the board spends the tax payers money
Hadfield believes with the small growth in the community and across the state since the decline in the economy is a positive sign that they’ll be able to continue to stay at this rate for a while.
