Camdenton Re-signs Agreement With Laclede Electric

The Camdenton Board of Alderman are approving an agreement with Laclede Electric Cooperative to continue supplying they city with electricity.

The city says the prior agreement expired in 2016, however they continued under that agreement.

City Administrator Jeff Hooker indicated that the agreement allows them to have just one electric utility option, making it less confusing for Camdenton Residents.

Laclede Electric is required to pay the city 5 perfect of the aggregate each month, which goes back to the cooperative to help pay for street lights.
