Two Camdenton High School students won big in the national science fair last week. Students Alana Sonksen and Conner Burton who are students of Camdenton Science teacher Chris Reeves worked hard on their projects to become winners multiple times, which is actually a very large achievement.
Mr. Reeves explained that Alana’s project was studying how bath salts affect humans when taken using fruit flies as the testers which earned her the right to go and present her research on the effects in August to the National Institute of Health and Drug Abuse Awareness Foundation in Washington DC. As far as what Conner worked on:
Conner is a graduating senior this year who is planning to attend college in Kirksville, MO.
