A group of four different bills for a TIF received their second readings at the Camdenton Board of Aldermen Meeting Tuesday night, just one month shy of their deadline. TIFs can only be delayed for 10 years and these bills were first voted on about 9 years and 11 months ago. The TIF would be specifically geared toward retail development in an area directly across from Wal-Mart. City Administrator Jeff Hancock says the specifics of the project are still unknown.
Sandy Osborn voted no on the bills, expressing concern with a current residence being in the vicinity of the project.
