Water is flowing again from Camdenton’s taps but the boil order will remain in effect until at least Tuesday. Camdenton City Administrator Brenda Colter explains the boil order was declared as the result of a water main break over the weekend:
Public works crews were able to restore water service to the city at 6:15 Sunday night:
Water samples have been sent to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and city officials are awaiting the results:
Colter says the tests take 24 hours, so the boil order continues, as a precaution. Until then, all customers on Camdenton’s city water system should boil water before drinking it.
