A mechanical issue is being blamed for a one-car accident that sent a Camdenton woman to the emergency room.

The highway patrol says it happened Wednesday afternoon on Route-D, north of Spencer Creek Road, in Camden County.

A tire on the car driven by 40-year-old Kiley Barry started wobbling causing Barry to lose control of the car. The car traveled off the road and down an embankment before striking a telephone box and a tree, then overturning.

Barry was wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. She was treated at Lake Regional Hospital.
