An agreement on sewer rates for the Camelot development is on the agenda for Tuesday’s Camden County Commission meeting. In late December, the commission approved a rate increase recommended by the sewer board. That recommendation would affect 59 customers in Tuscany and another 129 in The Shores. The proposed rate hike amounts to $9 a month in additional expenses for those customers. The sewer board says the higher prices will create an extra $20,000 a year to be used to cover the USDA required debt service. The commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 10 a.m.
