The trial for a Highway Patrolman charged with involuntary manslaughter for the drowning of a young man at the Lake of the Ozarks will take place with cameras in the courtroom. The 26th Circuit Court doesn’t usually allow cameras but, for this particular case, they have decided to waive the rule for certain media organizations. Trooper Anthony Piercy will stand trial for the drowning of Brandon Ellingson this summer, with jury selection scheduled to start July 10th.
