We are a week away from the start of the Can-Am Games. Over one-thousand participants representing police, fire, EMT and other protective services from across the globe will descend on the area for the Olympic-style sporting event featuring more than 50 different competitive categories. Competitions will feature a little bit of everything ranging from track and field to cycling, barbecue, shooting events, hockey,bowling, darts and the toughest firefighter. The Can-Am opening ceremony takes place next Monday at the Ozarks Amphitheater.
